Cypress Avenue was right next to the water.

The sand was rough and sometimes filled with glass.

I'd pick berries from the bushes with my best friend. We'd start a small fire from sparklers on monkey island on the fourth of July.

I remember we'd pick oranges from this lady's tree on our walks home from school.

The memories I have living in that house are endless as many childhoods are.

These memories and moments reflected through me in the process of creating the BROOZI x 2310 CYPRESS collection.

Never really been a fan of firsts. I'm at my most nervous when dealing with new things.

Fleeing is always the most comfortable choice.

So when I was initially asked to be a vendor at a local event I made up so many excuses in my head as to why I wasn't able to do it.

And I didn't end up doing it. I don't regret it, but I recognize the missed opportunity.

So I told myself the next opportunity I have to do it, I'm gonna.

Not long after I locked in an event. But because of stay at home orders, it was postponed.

Long story short, all of the pieces available are the ones I was working on for the event.

Would love to have finally felt like a small biz owner out there interacting with customers, but there will be time for that later.

For now, enjoy this collage of a collection. A depiction of my thoughts the past couple of weeks.

love, mak
